About

The little blue shop on 7th Avenue.

Barb Hamilton, on Google: “I love how Sandra can make you feel so at home in her cute little shop.”

Two chairs, two names

Sandra & Heather.

Sandra

Owner · 40+ years behind the chair

Trained at Vancouver Vocational Institute, and still current. She answers every Google review herself, including the hard ones, and she treats “what would you like?” as an actual question.

“Sandra always gives me what I ask for.”

Heather

Stylist

The second chair, and the reason the shop keeps up with the bookings. Precise, and easy to talk to while she works.

“Heather is talented, professional and the stylist I have been searching for.”

Either number takes a call or a text. The espresso is usually on, if you want one while you wait.

Every corner of it is hers.

Slate-blue paint, stained pine, mismatched mirrors. This is the actual room, not a mood board.

Keremeos & Hedley, mostly.

Fruit-stand country. People drive past here for orchards and K-Mountain. The locals just walk up 7th Avenue for a cut. Three other salons sit within a few blocks; folks still pick the blue room with the clock.

“I greatly appreciate these services here in town.”

Come see the room.

The photos are nice. Sitting in it is better.
